Rose defeated Esparza by technical knockout in less than three minutes of round 1. Rose not only won the championship but was named Fighter Of The Night. It also was the world's first women to fight for the title of champion at a big event. Namajunas won a number of bouts after her victory, which included defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night accolades from UFC.

Reign Edwards was born at Harford County Maryland in America on the 1st of December, 1996. The age she is now is 24. She holds American nationality and is of African origin. The mother of Reign (parents) was Destini Reign. Jeff Robinson is her father. Reign was raised in Maryland with her two sisters, one of which has Destini Edwards. Even as a child she landed minor roles in a few short films. Then she moved to Los Angeles for more opportunities. The role she played in this film was instrumental in establishing her in Hollywood and led to numerous job offers. Edwards was offered the role as Nicole Avant, a regular show on the TV soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful. Reign suited the part perfectly and became a household name in her performance. Reign additionally plays Melody the protagonist in Snowfall the show that is in the process of being produced. Following that, she went into the TV program MacGyver. Edwards appeared on a few TV shows as well as in the 2018's Hell Fest. Recent appearances include on the TV series The Wilds. The upcoming movie Love You Anyway will also include her.
